Hembränning betecknar olovlig framställning av spritdryck eller annan dryck innehållande etanol. När sprittillverkning i hemmet varit tillåten har benämningen varit husbehovsbränning. Spritillverkning för eget bruk har varit förbjuden i Sverige sedan 1855. Samma år infördes också spritskatt.
