Analyses of the new law impact on business clearly indicate that adapting to the requirements of GDPR/RODO will be a long-term process. It assumes not only organisational changes but also technical changes in the company structure. In consequence, the effects of non-observance of new obligations may be very costly, both in the operational sense and as in view of the influence on company image. Penalties imposed by the European Union can reach as much as 4% of the company’s total turnover, though no more than € 20 million.

20 milionów euro lub do 4% wartości rocznego światowego obrotu przedsiębiorstwa;

100 tys. złotych kary administracyjnej za naruszenia spowodowane przez administrację publiczną
(według projektu z dnia 13.09.2017 r. nowej polskiej ustawy o ochronie danych osobowych).
