About

Bitwa pod Monte Cassino*
Operacja Honker

Główną siłę atakującą czwartego natarcia (operacja Diadem, 11-19 maja) stanowił II Korpus Polski pod dowództwem gen. W. Andersa. Kryptonim operacji pochodzi od słowa honk, z ang.: krzyk dzikich gęsi wracających do swych gniazd. Honker to coś lub ktoś wydający takie dźwięki.

11 maja 1944 r. odczytano rozkaz przed bitwą gen. Andersa do żołnierzy 2 Korpusu Polskiego.
Żołnierze!

Kochani moi Bracia i Dzieci. W chwilach tych będą z nami myśli i serca całego Narodu, podtrzymywać nas będą duchy poległych naszych towarzyszy broni. Niech lew mieszka w Waszym sercu...

Changes of position

No change of position recorded since Wed, 14 Oct 2026.

The site has followed this roster since Wed, 14 Oct 2026: the member count, the joins and the leaves start then, as nobody knows who left before it. A join is exact: Wargaming lists it with the roster. A departure or a change of position is dated by the refresh of the roster that noticed it. Time in the clan is Wargaming's own join date, exact however long ago.
