About
Nazwa klanu powstała w oparciu o historyczną jednostkę jaką był 1 Pułk Czołgów.
Sformowano go 15 marca 1919 roku we Francji, a jego inicjatorem był gen. Józef Haller.
Maszynami w jakie wyposażona została owa jednostka było 120 czołgów typu Renault FT 17, jak na tamte czasy pojazdy były bardzo nowoczesne, dobrze uzbrojone oraz opancerzone.
Po przybyciu do Polski pułk brał udział w wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej gdzie wykazał się wysoką efektywnością bojową.
1 Pułk Czołgów był pierwszym odziałem pancernym jaki powstał w WP. Orzełek jaki znajduje się na tle szachownicy w logo klanu jest oryginalną odznaką pułku. Nazywając klan tą nazwą chcieliśmy oddać cześć i szacunek pancerniakom z tamtego okresu oraz zaznajomić ludzi by zagłębili się tematem.
