The vehicle codenamed "Eclipse" was discovered inside the Anomaly, in a phase near the ruins of the entity known as the "Dark Tower". The specimen was referred to the Babylon research center for thorough examination by specialists.

The vehicle is equipped with an experimental wideband signal-suppression unit powered by ultra-dense Mirium. According to our data, the device was developed by the expedition's engineers to disable the Dark Tower's defense systems. Judging by the traces found at the site, the tank took part in the final battle at the Tower to neutralize the massive mechanical Spider, after which it was abandoned. The tank's crew was likely evacuated aboard the Marduk, which then continued the expedition deep into the Anomaly.

The Eclipse's design was deemed exceptionally successful: durable and highly resistant to hostile environmental conditions. Following the completion of the investigation, the military commission recommended that the vehicle be returned to active service.
