The Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf.P, better known as the VK 45.01 (P) or Porsche Tiger, was one of the most peculiar German heavy tanks. It was equipped with two Typ 101 air-cooled engines and electric transmission. The complex and unreliable power unit meant the vehicle was never mass-produced, but thanks to Oarai Girls' High School, it managed to gain a second life. This tank was found in the bottom of the school ship and was restored by members of the automotive club, who later became its crew—Team-Leoponsan. Owing to their engineering prowess, the girls not only maintained the temperamental Porsche Tiger's combat readiness, but also upgraded it, fitting it with devices for short bursts of speed.
