With the British Centurion Mk.3 serving as its base, the development of the Cerberus was driven by the need for a versatile medium tank capable of operating in hostile environmental conditions. The resulting combination of excellent armor, powerful weaponry, and Mirium-based enhancements proved so effective that Cerberus tanks became all but mandatory for operations conducted within the anomaly.
